The place you choose will either already be furnished or will require special arrangements. In this case, don't hesitate to re-imagine the room: change the furniture layout, change the color of the walls, change the interior decoration etc. 

Keep your office oriented

After you have thought about the location of your new workstation, it is necessary to pay attention to its location. Ideally, position your office in direct proximity to a source of natural light, such as a window. Daylight has a very positive effect on morale, mood and therefore behaviour. In addition, having the opportunity to look at the view to relax your eyes and take short breaks will help to make your home office the ideal workplace. These breaks will also have a positive impact on your creativity.

But be careful not to get distracted by what's going on in the window.

In addition to a natural light source, use an artificial light source if you have to work very early or late in the morning or if the outside light is not bright enough to see clearly.

A comfortable and functional workplace is essential for efficiency. The purpose of designing your workspace is to make it a place conducive to productivity and concentration. 

To do this, we recommend that you choose a solid, practical, stable desk that is large enough to ensure maximum comfort. Equip your office with storage spaces that you can easily access and in which you can store all your accessories and paperwork. The practicality of your space is essential to make the place pleasant and to promote your efficiency. 

We also recommend that you get a comfortable seat: choose a chair with armrests, a footrest and a comfortable back. You will need a computer adapted to your computing needs (more or less powerful depending on your work), additional computer equipment (mouse, keyboard, wrist rest, computer support so that the screen is at eye level, headphones, etc.), office supplies such as pens, paper, etc. 

It is also essential that you have a good internet connection so that you can be reached at all times by your superiors or colleagues and so that you can carry out your tasks, if they require internet access.
